bettachris Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3875 Kudos: 4173 Votes: 452 Registered: 13-Jun-2004 | well the new petco opened today, and with a pals card all bettas were .99 (up to four) well anyway i ended up getting 2 steel blue veils, 1 pastel, and 1 red veil. anyway, i was shopping and then i saw this nice solid yellow male in the corner of my eye, but then this lady grabbed him up for her daughter and then they got a betta kit. so u can guess that i was very up-set]:| but what really got me was this lady took another betta, but she only got one betta set-up, one can only tell what is going to happen. |

kitten Fish Guru Meow? Posts: 2266 Kudos: 2194 Votes: 19 Registered: 18-Nov-2003 | As pugperson said, it's quite possible there is another set up waiting at home for the second betta. I rather think it's unfair to call the woman "evil" if you don't know the circumstances, fishyhelper. Personally, I've done the same... I've bought two bettas and only one tank because I had a spare at home. Or on another betta liberation escapade , brought home bettas with the intention of giving one to my sister, who had a setup. It's simply unfair to judge when you don't know what's going on. I do feel for you, chris... I was lucky enough to snatch up my yellow betta because he was hiding behind all the others and looked quite drab in that silly little cup he was in! ~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~ |

I know what you mean kitten I sit at walmart and dig into the back, top and bottom to see what is thereone of these days I might even get lucky enough to find another Lucky, who knowsI also check their "death row" for anything interesting, though next time, I'm gonna ask if I can get a discount or since it's so "sickly" can I just have it We all know what a water change can do to the appearance of a bettaand for the most part the folks that work there don'theidi michelle So it was no surprise the day she learned That her Texas man would not return "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom."
