JTF Enthusiast Posts: 245 Registered: 16-May-2004 | Would it be okay to do a 100% water change every five days on my one gallon. Will this stress the betta. Thanks. |

Daily changes aren't necessary but I'm certainly not against 'em! (Just pre-empting anti-daily comments) -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |

I have had much better results as far as my Bettas colors and behavior are concerned. I don't think going in a cup for 5 minutes bothers them to much when they are right back into their own tanks. They seem to come up to the glass to say "thanks" afterwards. |

With my first betta, I did 100% water changes, then I read that it wasn't good for them, so I started doing 50% water changes, but then he got fin rot and popeye and died, so I will only do 100% water changes. |
