I was given some paradise fish (2 of them) and was wondering how I should go about keeping them. Please help as these are beautiful fish and I would like to keep them.

paradice fishes are like bettas. these fishes will do good in a 2-5 fallon tank. they don't need heat. very hardy. good luck

well, im sure they would like a larger tank, just because they dont need to have heat space, doesnt mean they wouldent appreaciate it just keep em in a 10-20 gallon tank, they would love it

I have separated my 10g into three approx. 3.3 gallon slots and the two hae been separated into two of these slots along with a heater (the profiles states that they can tolerate heat) at 78 degrees. A betta (white hopefully) will soon occupy the third slot but I was wondering if the betta could reside along with the smaller paradise in order to save space.

Paradise fish are like bettas, don't house 2 males together. Even a male & female together can cause problems if the tank isn't large enough.

These are just my opinions but I wouldn't keep 1 in anything smaller than a 10g, and I wouldn't keep one with a betta either
