	Paradise Fish Info
leongreenway Enthusiast Posts: 205 Kudos: 199 Votes: 0 Registered: 23-Feb-2005	Hi, can anyone tell me if a paradise fish would be OK with a Redtailed Black shark and / or Firemouth Cichlids or Altolamprologus calvus. What are peoples opinion on these fine looking fish. Leon

A calvus, being an African chichlid, is not really compadible with anything other than other fish from lake tang. - Dj :88)

I also think they're sligtly cooler-water than most tropicals. my advice owuld be not to get a paradise, sine it would be stressd from tropical temperatures, and hence even more aggressive. get pearl gouramis instead, they'll go fine with any fish.

The one I have now minds his own business and leaves the other fish alone (fancy guppies, blue rams, angels). The other fish seem to mind their own business, too. If you have a fish that is agressive towards others, I'm guessing a paradise fish might fight back. In the end, it's your call if you get one or not. I think mine has a lot of personality, so go for it! ;-) Tina I've got a fever... and the only prescription... is more cowbell!
