one of my tanks is a 25 gallon tank and i have one betta , 2 swordtails , one borneo sucker , 2 striped barbs , 1 yoyo loach. all apart from the betta are bottom dwellers. i'm wanting 4 pearl gouramis will they be fine together? or would it be better to get some neons?

THe betta and the gourami will probably not work togeather. The betta will probably be aggressive towards the gourami or the other way around.

Gouramis and bettas typically do not get along.

On a side note, Pearl Leeri gouramis get to be around 5+" in length, I've seen them that size easily. So I wouldn't keep 4 Pearls in a 25 gallon tank ANYWAY. A dwarf gourami would do much better IMO.

aside from what everyone else has said. the yoyo should have a couple friends, they tend ot get moody when alone.

the yoyo loach was sold to me as a tiger loach. it was the only one in the shops tank. it is fine and happy , if it wasn't i would buy some more.
the person i could buy these from said they are fine with bettas. and they breed them. do glass bloodfins go with bettas?
