I just wondered if anyone here had any experience with Betta's getting lumps which start on one side of the body, about two thirds down from the face, so nearer the tail then the gills(?)

they look like those Horrible adolescent spots that come up as lumps on your face. red and sore and hard. Peaches got two lumps like this and died - it took four months?

Now Blue has the lumps or at least the beginings of them. I am desperate for information - i have not found much on the net.

so i came here.

They sound like some sort of pustule type thing... any chance of a photo GFG?

the pictures aren't exactly the best quality but she ended up with two lumps either side of her body, on her they were very red and sore looking but she was pink. from what i can see on BLue she has a slight lump on one side(exactly how it started on peaches).
