Hooktor Fish Addict Posts: 646 Kudos: 651 Votes: 67 Registered: 22-Mar-2004 | I woke up this morning to find my boy floating around the bottom of the tank and then his body got sucked up against the filter I am so sad, i have had him for such a long time. How long do bettas usually live? I have had him for like 2 years i think, i'm not 100% sure. I feel so bad, he had a great dinner of bloodworms last night and i woke up and he was dead. :#( |

One problem with bettas purchased in stores, is that you don't know how old they are when you purchased them. I think 2 to 3 years is average, though fp members have had bettas that have lived much longer. |
