Sick Betta | |
PeteMaguire Small Fry Posts: 1 Kudos: 1 Votes: 0 Registered: 11-Jan-2006 | My Betta has fungus. He is not able to move one of his front fins and the fungus is also on his gills on one side. He is distressed, but still moving. As soon as I saw the fungus I moved him out of a 20 gallon tank (also home to two ottos and two bronze corys) and into a smaller bowl where I am giving him "bettafix" at the reccomendation of my LFS. Would anybody know if there is any way to clear some of the fungus off of the Betta without causing more stress or anything else that I can do for him? Also, what should I do with the corys and Ottos in the 20. They seem fine and I'd rather they stayed that way... If any of you can help me (This is my first tank and it's been running for almost a week) I'd appreciate it. Thanks. |
