Something's wrong with my male betta | |
Betta23 Fingerling Posts: 29 Kudos: 23 Votes: 0 Registered: 07-Mar-2005 | Hey guys, i've noticed sumthing unusual about 1 of my male betta. He seems fine but his gills always half-open and theres sum white stuff (not dots, more like a hanging piece) on top of his head. He doesnt eat, but still shows agression towards other males. I'm including that bcuz normally when i have a sick male betta, he doesnt show any agression towards others, and more likely to back up, lighten its color and flee in a frighten manner. I dont wanna lose this guy cuz hes one of the most colorful ones i have. Thanks guys! |

Does the white stuff on his head loosely resemble moss, but is white? If it is you should go and get some melafix. Gofish had something similar last fall, and after a week or so of treating him with the melafix he began to show improvement. Treat him with it until he is back to normal...Don't worry, just do a water change, and start treating him...best of luck, Heidi "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom."
