My betta will only eat bloodworms. I've tried flakes and nice pellets and he just looks at it and then swims by it. What do I do?!

You could try to mix foods, I did that with all my fish. My Bettas get a mix of flakes, freeze-dried blood worms and Betta granules from Tetra. Good luck !

Another question...How often do you feed him?

ohh! Pick me pick me!!

I have a betta who only eats bloodworms. Well occasionally he'll pick on Hikari pellets, but nothing else. *shrug* Doesn't really matter too much to me, I just give him what he wants. He'll eat peas too, but only if they're small enough. Sometimes you just get a picky eater, and can't do anything about it. *shrug* G/L

Have a look at your LFS and see if they stock this Marineland Labs Betta food. This is his everyday meal, my male just loves it.

For a nutritional supplement I also feed him 4 Hikari frozen blood worms one day of the week, freeze dried brine shrimp on another day, and Sera'a staple diet flake food on another which he's come to accept lately . All the best.

Thanks so much! I only feed him once a day, sometimes twice.

Thanks Bala He was a real steal...

My...umm..."friend" (at the time) knew that I was on the lookout for a white betta. We work at an LFS, and he works Monday nights, which is when we get our fish shipment usually. He saved him for me, and I absolutely love him. Paid like $5 or something...he's the most beatiful double tail in all the land. Or at least thats what I tell him.

got to come by ur pet store someday. i was just by there yesterday but didn't step in.(lol 1 day) well if ur betta is a picky eatter then this man sound curel but it might work. only put 1 pellet in a day untill he starts to eat it. the betta will learn to eat that. and of course give him bloodworms with his condition starts to fade.
