It seems cool. But the details are vague. Id love to get this for my little sisters bday. (If it works)

That one actually looks pretty good! Most of those things are attrocious!

Only 2 faults I can see with it are:

1) you can't put a heater in there, so your house has to be warm enough.

2) It says the fish is included - I'd rather choose my own

But other than that, it's a decent size, it has a lid... & they advise AGAINST goldfish!

AND suggest changing the water TWICE a week!!

Sounds like a pretty good deal - for $14 - looks good!

*hopes it isn't too good to be true, and starts adding up things individually* - that really isn't bad if you think about it - (Prices are from my area)
Snails: 2 @ $1.99 = Roughly $4
Betta: $2.99
Net: .69
Gravel: $1.99
Tank: eh - $5.99
Java fern: $3.49
So Total: $19.13 (good deal!!)

Hmm - okay - that's what kills you - shipping Shipping
is $25 - that is $39 total, I guess that's not too bad - maybe just pick up each part individually and use gravel from an already established tank? Hmmm *ponders*

Personally, I would prefer a 10g with some Neons and some Dwarf Cories but it isn`t me. It sounds a good deal, give it a try if you want

You do get some choice when ordering: 'If you want a Fish Bowl Kit with Male Betta that costs more than $3.50, then order item #9313, which is the Fish Bowl Kit without a Betta, and order the Male Betta of your choice. If you want to specify the color of the Male Betta that we will ship with your Fish Bowl Kit, send us a Special Request with your order.'

thats actually pretty good IMO.

I've very rarely seen better to be honest.

If you look under the Betta section, there is another tank under the one you mentioned that is cheaper because it doesn't come with any Betta, so your sister can choose her own one !!
