I fed Prissy before I left today. I feed her one pellet at a time, and she just kept eating, and eating, and eating...I finally stoped feeding her, because I thought to myself "It might kill her if she eats to much." Is this true, and is something wrong with her if she is eating so much? Normally, she dosen't eat that much. Maybe she is just hungry or something

i fed mine 14 hikari pellets once... he threw up.

yes, they can overeat, in the wild, you never know when your next meal is coming. very much like dogs, they have trouble self-regulating.

For animals, the entire universe has been neatly divided into things to (a) mate with, (b) eat, (c) run away from, and (d) rocks. - Terry Pratchett

They will gorge themselves until it all goes - natural instinct. Feed little and often and it will flourish.

Feed twice a day, a few pellets in the morning & a few in the evening, but don't overfeed.

I feed my bettas once before I leave, and at night when I get back. :%)

I haven't been feeding them quite as much, and they seem to be doing fine
