	Unique Betta
royal cichlid Banned Posts: 39 Kudos: 84 Votes: 4 Registered: 02-Jul-2004	My neighbor has a transsexual betta, it has a veil tail and has vertical and horizontal stripes which is weird because male bettas can't get stripes. if they can, correct me please Does anyone have a clue what might be going on with this betta signed, your scared me [span class="edited"][Edited by royal cichlid 2004-08-05 15:15][/span]

I've had 2 males and 4 females... all of the females had stripes at one time or another and neither of my males did...I'd never seen anybody elses male with stripes either... Anybody got pics of a male with stripes?

I found this out when I placed a jar with a male next to my oscars tank, he almost had a heart attack! ashley
