"Wantmoretanks" turned me on to this site in another thread.... But after checking out Biloxibettas.com I ended up ordering a MG pair and 2 green females... Total cost (including shipping) was only $25.00.... What I ended up receiving, were the Bettas I'd ordered, along with 2 additional females that were simply given to me! Had great email communication with the seller, Paul! The fish arrived in excellent condition! Couldn't be more satisfied.... Just wanted to pass the word along to any other fish keeper who might be like myself --- Not a breeder, just like fish.... Because these prices are VERY REASONABLE for an online site!

Having taken a look at the site, I think you're right - maybe not the source for someone who's really serious about breeding, but looks to be a good place for lovely pets.

Dreamweaver, how are your new Bettas doing? Mine finally spawned after 3 weeks. Large spawn of about 150.

Well, wantmoretanks, simply put: My bettas are THRIVING!!! In fact, just today I received 2 more Male MG from BiloxiBettas.com ---- and I am more than satisfied!!! One is a simply BEAUTIFUL yellow, brown and black - which I've named "Dusky"... And the other, "Blue" (named for my daughter's favorite team - Michigan) - a simply splendid specimen of luxurious blue and yellow.... So now our household includes 5 STUNNING males!!! Is this heaven or what??????

Now I'm not buying Bettas to breed --- so no spawning has taken place.... Instead, I have a STUNNING 20 gal tank of ALL female Bettas --- all well adapted to one another -- and the colors in that tank are simply amazing!!!! The males share 10 gal tanks with dividers --- and seem to draw everyone's eye!

You will never know how GRATEFUL I am for your turning me on to the BiloxiBettas.com web site!!! Paul continues to be the most friendly and generous seller I've come in contact with! One funny thing though --- upon my request for "Dusky" - Paul mentioned that although he doesn't understand why, this particular coloring was not very popular with most people ---- But you should see him!!! His soft brown body, warm yellow fins etched with subtle touches of black ---- How ANYONE could not find him BEAUTIFUL is beyond me!!!!!

Did experience one loss during the time Fish Profiles was "down".... Lost another of my female Crowntails - again due to becoming egg-bound.... I just don't seem to have any luck when it comes to female Crowntails - Although "Torch" my male Crowntail continues to thrive!

GREAT TO HAVE THIS SITE BACK, ISN'T IT????? MAKES ME SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's great. Paul is very good. I have emailed him numerous times with questions and comments and he always answers within a day. Unfortunately I lost all but one fry Sat. I was feeding them liquifry and found out I overfed them and polluted the water. The parents are doing well though and will try again later. Hopefully the one will be OK.

It's doing fine but doesn't seem to be growing much. It was a really small one. I would have thought one of the larger ones would have survived instead of this tiny one. It's very hard to find it even in the breeder tank.

Well, I searched & searched yesterday and couldn't find the last baby so I guess it's gone. The good news is my Bettas are about ready to spawn again. I am much better prepared now so hopefully this will go much better.

Sorry to hear about your loss.... But here's hoping all goes well in the next round!!!! Sure wish you lived close to me --- I'd love to witness once again the spawning miracle from beginning to end.... but reality tells me that right now I don't have that much room or even time.....

Wantmoretanks, I just placed yet another order with our friend, Paul at BiloxiBettas.com.... This time I've requested a solid Blue Male, solid Yellow Male, solid Green Male, and a Blue/Yellow/Green Male.... Last but not least, as a gift for one of my grandsons, a yellow & blue MG Male (The majority of my clan are Michigan fans!)...... Like I've said previously, you can't imagine how appreciative I am that you shared this wonderful site and seller with the rest of us! THANKS AGAIN... AND AGAIN... AND AGAIN.... AND AGAIN.... AND AGAIN....

Those all sound like beautiful fish. I don't know that I will breed very often but really wanted to experience it at least once. Eventually I would love to be set up to keep lots of Bettas. I just love them.
