i had this in the bad of my mind for a few days.

does haveing air freshiners around bettas/labyrith fish do anything to them.

Good question!
I think as long as its not like right beside the tank it would be ok...But I do believe that 'breathing in' certain chemicals can be toxic to the fish...But if you have a lid or cover on the tank then they should be ok. I know that paint fumes are harmfull, but I don't know about the other...

Try to cover the tank, when you put air freshiners in the same room.

i have those air fresheners near my bettas, doesnt hurt them, but they arnt the spry ones, its like a jell blob, that slowly dissapears

i would have to say if its the plug in one that u plug in to the walls then fine because they evaperat into the air fast but the spray ones would probibly couse some damige. because they take longer to evaperate and they hit the floor and it gets all wet so if u ask me us the plug in ones and not the spray if u want to use air freshiners
