i have a black lace male that i got a lfs(so the gene are probably messed up) but if i were to breed him to a royal blue girl would i get the ususal royal/steel/black lace ?

i was curious as to what a FMS and an opaque white w/ maroon markings would give me..just waiting for the fry to grow up

the next thing i think im gunna breed r my opaques

FMS? never heard that term b4. but yea i guess you are right, from what i have had in my mind all these years is that black lace are melano black mixed with mutli colors.

i too want to get my light color spawns done.
i have like 4 males that i want to breed, but however all of my light females are fin nippers so i have to wait for the next shippment.

im setting up the breding tank for the opaques soon, i have 3 females and 1 male the females r sisters, and the male is unrealted i have 1 female with almost identical markingS but i also have a double spot (2 spots on tail, 2 spots on anal fin) and a double bar ( same consept, only with bars)

i have a pic of the double bar, and the male.. give me a sec....

the females markings are just a bit darker than the male's, should i stick to markings, or go wild with them?

they aren't really opqaue but i wont tell if you wont

those fishes should provide a nice marble or maybe butterflys.
