i was wondering if cory's would be o.k with female bettas. i just added my new females into thier tank and now they are fighting /nipping. could a cory be o.k with them?

I'm not 100% sure but I think that cories would be fine with the females - But remember that cories need to be kept in groups of 6 or more.

I've had problems with female bettas between each other but never with them and other fish, especially bottom feeders like cories.

Most fish don't bother cories, and your bettas definitely won't. As was said above, don't forget to keep your cories in schools of at least six.

I have 4 female bettas in my community tank, and i have peppered cories in there. The females don't bother the cories at all. The females dont really bother each other

And in my other tank, I keep a male with kuhlis. He doesnt even know theyre there

And I'm with the crowd - bettas and cories are a good mix, just make sure you have enough cories.
