is there a way to deal with a an aggressive female. i tried to breed this female 6 months ago but she bit up the male. now i have tried to breed her to a white dt male but after letting her go for a few mins, she took a small peice of fins from him. now is there anything i can do or she will be a fin nipper 4ever.

In my experience, the female will almost always have the same breeding habits from the second spawn on... It seems in the first spawn that they don't know exactly what to do, but after that, they seem to develop a habit. In short, I have not had much luck changing overly aggressive spawning pairs' habits, which really stinks because reds (my favorite) are generally the most aggressive.
