dealing with aggression | |
bettachris Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3875 Kudos: 4173 Votes: 452 Registered: 13-Jun-2004 | is there a way to deal with a an aggressive female. i tried to breed this female 6 months ago but she bit up the male. now i have tried to breed her to a white dt male but after letting her go for a few mins, she took a small peice of fins from him. now is there anything i can do or she will be a fin nipper 4ever. |

It seems in the first spawn that they don't know exactly what to do, but after that, they seem to develop a habit. In short, I have not had much luck changing overly aggressive spawning pairs' habits, which really stinks because reds (my favorite) are generally the most aggressive. |
