littlemousling Conchiform Posts: 5230 Registered: 23-Aug-2003 | Are you sure they were eating them? Bubblenesters tend to pick up the eggs in their mouths and then spit them back into the nest. The constantly falling eggs are quite the irritation, I suspect, but most fish are pretty good about not eating them. Even if they were, they're just beginners - a few spawns in and they'll figure out that eating the eggs isn't helping. -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |
