So today i decided to get one and wow did i get an active one. This little guy wont stop zipping around his 2.5 gallon tank. Is this normal? i heard bettas aren't really that active. Maybe he was happy to be out of that little cup in the petstore or something lol. Also why does marine labs bio blend betta food sink instead of float? If he doesn't see it falling he will never see it on the gravel. |

I don't know about the sinking betta food. I have always used a floating food for mine. By the way, Congratulations! Bet you can't keep just one. |

I have a very small whisper filter on it which is turned to lowest setting i cant imagine that knocking a little pellet downwards. |
