I have 4 guppies a swordtail, a dwarf gourami, and 2 gouramis (I think they're blue gouramis) in my 30g. Could I keep a betta in there?

I really don't think you could add a betta, regardless of the sex. You've already got the three gouramis, and they tend to hang near the surface. There won't be room for another surface dweller (hint: a betta!) up there, especially once those blue gouramis get bigger. Those fish reach five or six inches, and will just hog the surface.

Another reason that a betta wouldn't work is because bettas and gouramis don't usually seem to get along. They are each labyrinth fish, and (as I mentioned) like to hang out in the same area. Either the gourami or the betta instigates the fighting, and you often end up with at least one dead fish on your hands. I wouldn't risk buying the betta.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

Don't add any Bettas, unless you take out a Gourami.

Blue Gourami get a bit big & so the space is quite limited.

As mentioned because of the gouramis, but also GUPPIES!!!!!!!! they will mistake them for other male bettas, because of their tails. So definitely not unless you removed atleast 1 gourami and the guppies.
