Not all female bettas get along, your best bet would be having one male in there, he will be very happy.

If wanting to place a couple of females together if you can get some that have basically been raised together you will have better luck at keeping them.

Your lfs may has some that have been together in a tank for a while and that could prove to be a good choice.

okay, at my lfs the are kept in a female betta community tank, & I when I looked at the tank I didnt see any fighting, when the lady puts them in the bag I'll see how they get along

what should I feed them? atm all I have is "goldfish flakes"

Im *hopefully* gonna get them tomorrow

hooktor - I remember reading in their profile that I should only add a male if i want to breed, is breeding hard? should I try? or not

You need to keep the male and female separate, except for breeding, though. I'd just go with the two girls...

For feeding, you want to pick up a betta pellet (hikari or HBH are good choices). They love a selection of food, freeze dried bloodworms are a good choice, but they'll eat a variety of foods. However, you want to keep a good staple food, like the pellets. Oh... frozen and live foods are muchly appreciated.

Just try keeping a few first before you go breeding them

You could have a few girls OR a single male. Just be careful that the girls aren't agressive. I'd probably go for 3 girls rather than 2, but check with the experts first .

Breeding them is fun, but it's more difficult than most fish. You have to have the time and resources to look after hundreds of fish individually. Definitely something you should research before you try it.
