i got him over the weekend, and i am uploading the pics now so pics soon.

he is a VT red butterfly found him at petland.

unfort. i think he blew his lower fin, i guess from flaring at his neighbor.

anyway splash sounds good, he is very active, and building nest like crazy. i do have some girls, but i gave up breeding so he will just be a house pet./:'

blowing fins is when they flare so much that they overstretch the webbing to the point of tearing. end result is a ripped fin, its pretty common in young HMs and overzealous VTs

when i got him he didnt have that, and over the past few days he is activly flaring at his neighbor so it must have blown.

na no more breeding, beside i only have two girls and they are both multis, wont mix good with the butterfly.
