If you treat the fish with Melafix, the fins should grow back rather quickly. I don't know how much they were damaged, so I can't give you a good estimate on how many days that will be.

If you don't treat for anything, it could take several weeks to heal. Fish will heal their fins naturally, but Melafix will speed up the process.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

You shouldn't keep similar species of Labrynth fish...ie. Gourami, Betta, Paradise fish together because of their aggression towards similar species. Make sure that you don't have similar fish like this together in the future....they'll be a lot happier.

I've got a fever... and the only prescription... is more cowbell!
