A few weeks a ago I treated my tank for a parasitic worm outbreak. Ever since then, I've been concerned that the treatment didn't take care of the intestinal worms. Because of this, anytime I see anything looking like a worm in my tank, I scoop it out.

To make a long story short, I was wondering where is it that Gouarmis get rid of thier waste from. It seems to be closer to the head of the fish but I can't be sure. What looked to me like poop once before now looks like a worm.

I'd apperciate any help on this topic, and thanks in advance.

Thanks, that's really helpful. I'm glad to hear that it is in fact waste and not parasites. Thanks so much!

I have one opaline Gourami, one giant gourami, and one paradise fish. Right now, the paradise fish looks as though it may be pregnant. Also, the opaline gourami is constantly chasing the giant gourami (as it's not giant yet... it's only about 3-4 inches big right now). Anyways, I think that are the most beautiful and interesting fish.

Hummm... perhaps this sould be in anther thread.
