sex of dwarf gouramis | |

I read that the dorsal fins are bigger on males but both of my fish lay their dorsal fins down sometimes and sometimes they are full (if that makes sense...not sure it does) I am pretty sure that both of them have done this. Are there any other differences between male and female? |

I have rarely seen them sold in stores because people don't want these dull colored fish. The dorsal fin comparison is for the bigger gouramis when they stick up their fin. The males will have more pointed fins and the females rounder shorter fins. |

Dwarfs are easy to sex them. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.deathbydyeing.org/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
