I think all Trichopsis species are like that. Some have said the spots/stripes are fewer or faded or that the fins have less red but then others have proven that completely false. The only way that seems proven is to shine a light at them and look at the internal organs but I'm not sure which shape means male. I think I'm going to take the most agressive medium sized gourami, the least agressive medium sized gourami, and the different small gourami and put them in the tank. (When it's done getting treated for leeches) |
