Look, if you want to do anything real with these Betta's you need to know some things! What color gene is mom and dad? Out of the strain, what series are they? F1's F2's...what are they? In doing so you can be sured that you are not going to sell HMs that will spit out DTs. So on and so on. Betta genetics are not something to be toyed with unless you know what you are doing. |

~jamie~ Big Fish Posts: 463 Kudos: 671 Votes: 65 Registered: 08-May-2004 | *Agrees with Shannen* If you are looking to make more than just a quick buck and want to actually do this and do it right, it would help if you actually sounded like you knew about what you are doing besides...here's my stock, buy my fish. Anybody who actually wants to breed will care about the things Shannen mentioned above, and these would be your return customers. Anyone else will just buy one fish just because it's pretty and you won't hear from them for a year or two until the one they bought died of old age...and then again they might just decide it's just as easy to go up to the LFS to get another and not deal with the hassle of shipping etc. I know my LFS has started maintaining a nice consistant crown tail stock...
