Have seen them on aquabid... apparently they grow to about 2", some are endangered and are livebearers. Guess they can be pretty colorful too. Searched for info on FP brought up absolutely nothing and a google search didn't give me much more.

Anyone have any experience with these fish?

they look cute ( i checked out several sites just now), and i guess it's a good buy if you want something different. It's crazy how much it costs to ship fish though, i wouldnt do it

That's a very interesting link, thanks! I'm considering them for my next community tank but they are rather expensive. Anyone have any first hand experience with Goodeids?

Personally, I have no experience with them but I did find a couple of other interesting links. Apparently, from what I've just read, they eat [font color="#008000"]blue/green algae[/font] and are easy to care for.
