Ballon Molly Fry | |
DonnieBoy Hobbyist Posts: 81 Kudos: 67 Votes: 0 Registered: 10-Nov-2004 | One of my balloon mollies gave birth a few days ago, I managed to get 8 of them. 3 were dead and 3 more got eaten before i could save em, but the rest are living happily in a 1.5 Gallon Hex untill they get a little bigger. Question, How long does it take them to grow to a decent size? when do they start developing their balloon bellies? Don |

It doesnt take but a couple months before they develop into true Balloon belly form. On a couple ocassions, I also lost the mom just a few days later. Keep looking for more, they are great at hiding... You will have more here soon in about a month |

All right now look to be the same color as mom but I was wondering if they might grow into different colors? Also 2 of the fry were born with one eye larger than the other. Is this normal? Will they grow out of it? Don |
