However, for space and availability, guppies are probably the best. They are easy to obtain, nice to look at, and very, very easy to breed. Just add water and fish, and you will end up with fry. They seem to take less time to mature than the larger livebearers. When breeding them, I'd get a mix of fancy and feeder guppies, so their offspring will be healthier and less inbred. ![]() I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

Slightly awful but proves the guppy point: a friend of mine kept an ACF on guppies his whole 10-year lifespan - and she only bought 10, once. She kept them in a big gallon jar, fed a couple a day, and never had to buy another group (although how she managed not to kill off the whole supply with ammonia, I don't know!) -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |

Im differant!' smartypants, I choose mosquitofish. You could probably pull the parent fish out of the local creek because they are breeding like rabbits in Australia and they are outcompeteing local fauna like rainbowfishes. They are pests.
