Confused on new molly sex | |
hca Fish Addict Posts: 783 Kudos: 434 Votes: 211 Registered: 06-Mar-2004 | Ive kept plenty of livebearers before, but this one is confusing me. The bottom fin ( that you tell the difference with) is 1/2 way between what a females/ males is- its not long and pointy/ not fan shaped either- but inbetween. He/she is 2 inches, and a gold dalmation- And i CANT see a gravid spot. If there was one there, Id be able to see it on this fish. Its occassionally "play chasing" my f molly and f platy, like a male would before breeding, but not trying to breed. Id post a pict- but my crappy camara is only good for taking photos at a distance. Any ideas if I have a girl or boy?? Or a sterile molly?? Im just curious, not interested in breeding.I just thought he/she was a cutie. |
