I need some advice on a tank change. I have four day old fry hiding in the plants and don't wanna suck them up too....

Then just do a water change and don't go near the plants with the syphon.

Do a water change like Cory Addict said, & when you pour the water back in the tank, try to catch the dirt that stir up with a net.
It's not easy, but you can give it a try.
