Hi, I read that some people on this board have kept them before. Just wondering if anyone can give me some info on them (i.e. experiences, etc). Thx

i dont think they are real i just think they might be talking about the varigated ones. i dont know i have regular platies so all i can say is they are very easy to keep but i cant get my females to give babies up very well.

yup, here in phillipines they are common. they called them balloon platy-moon. the fry is still the same in size. i got 15 of 'em. about an inch long, and fully grown. for now, i got 20 fry. feed them daphnia and grind flakes. just like in the link thier color. some yellowish red(sunset) and they are easy to breed just like the other ordinary platies. no special treatment just feed them twice a day(for fully grown, three to four times for the fry) tip: feed them daphnia for faster growth. they are so cute and adorable.
