Endlers with babys....Want roomies | |
angeleel Fish Addict Posts: 561 Kudos: 472 Votes: 61 Registered: 08-Feb-2005 | Hello I have Endlers in a 10 gallon tank with no other fish in it. Right now I have 2 Females who JUST had fry about 2 days ago and 4 days ago for another, thing is I also still have 3 more females who are going to have babys. If needed I'll go in and be the population control. I was just wondering, if there is ANYTHING else that would do good in there with them, and somewhat leave the fry alone after all, there endlers I don't want em to keep going to waste being eaten. I would be willing to try anything, one thing I do not want though is something that would take away from this once speicies only tank. I love the Endlers and don't want something that will totally take away from them. Hope someone can help, Thanks a ton Angel EEl |

I personally wouldn't trust any gouramis, IME they're great fry eaters. Maybe a pair of cherry barbs? A group of C. pygmaeus or C. habrosus would clean leftovers on the bottom. If you have algae maybe a trio of otos? Do you have plans for the Endler's fry? They can get really out of control in a 10g :%) ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |
