Rosy reds get near four inches, vs. fancy guppies' two. And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

They're both the same species - they both hit the same size. If anything I'd expect the feeders to get larger, since many overbred fancies are known for being a little on the small side. -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com!

littlemousling Conchiform Posts: 5230 Registered: 23-Aug-2003	Nope, Rosies are a color variety of Fathead Minnows, Pimephales promelas. They're cute fish, and underappreciated as pets and display animals. The same, I feel, is true of the common "feeder" guppy, the males of which can be gorgeous, in subtler colors than the similarly patterned Endler's Livebearer. -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com!
