if one of the parent, say the father is AA (complete dominant genotype) for yellow
and the mother is aa (complete recessive genotype) for blue

you will have Aa, Aa, Aa, Aa and with the dominant phenotype shown which is yellow

if the father is Aa (with dominant genotype) for yellow
and the mother is Aa (with recessive genotype) for blue

you will have AA, Aa, Aa, aa
AA will have a phenotype of yellow
Aa will have a phenotype of yellow but a blue gene carrier
aa with have a phenotype of blue

does it make sense to you?
anyone, correct me if i'm wrong cause i only learnt this last week in biol

Also dont forget that there are multiple genes for each color. Such as, there are 5 different red genes. The only way to have a SOLID perfect red body is to have all 5 of those red genes being dominant.
