smileyriley13 Small Fry Posts: 14 Kudos: 13 Votes: 0 Registered: 02-Jun-2004 | One of my guppies strangly keeps swimming to the bottom and when swimming up comes up doing circles. Is this normal or is she unwell? |

In my open she's just being goofy. But, I've never had a guppy do this...check your water parameters also, something could be up there...Heidi "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom." Thomas Carlyle |

But I have seen my mother's goldfish do it, and it ended up that the fish had a "swim bladder" problem. She threw in some chunks of zuchini, the fishies chowed down on it... and the fish quit doing it. I hope this can help you too... |

If neither the zuchinni or peas help get ahold of Cory_Di she has some other ideas that help with swim bladder. So Jamie, your mom has goldies? I can just imagine goldies swimming in circles:%) Heidi "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom." Thomas Carlyle |
