I would think a few would be fine, but unless you have plans for a larger tank I'd suggest getting males. If you want to breed them then make sure you have a LFS to take them and you prob want to set up a fry grow out tank, etc.... but that's a whole nother subject.

HTH,
Beth

I wouldn't keep guppies with danios. Every time I have had guppies with danio they have no tails.

with the fish you have the babies should be gone in no time, and they'd all get along so why not go for males and females? that way your fish don't get lonely for them girls, and no babies to worry about because they'll all get eaten.

I think they'd be ok in your tank.

While generally males are more colorful than females, there are quite a few female varieties available now with just as nice coloring.

Guppies will often eat their own fry. Not sure about Bolivians but my German rams take care of fry quite well. Your gouramis might too.

MAle guppies are ALWAYS more colorful. Nowadays imported female guppies (At least in Malta) are huge and very colorful. THis is a result of hormone treatment thus making them hopeless for breeding purposes, but if you want guppies for a community tank I would suggest that you buy fish of both sexes as males and females tend to nip eachother when the opposite sex is absent.
