SamanthaStorm Enthusiast Posts: 190 Kudos: 190 Votes: 51 Registered: 11-Nov-2004 | well in a 15 gallon you have quite a few options. From what i know, you wont want to get any different types of livebearers becuase they will cross breed. For the bottom level of your tank you could get a smaller pleco (such as a BN) or a shoal of smaller corys (pandas, pygmys, etc) With my guppys I have a dwarf fire gourami that adds quite a bit of color, but if you do decide to go with a gourami, make sure if is a dwarf, the others get too big! As far as i know you could also get a school of the smaller tetras (glo lights, neons etc) Although a 15 might not provide enough room for them, you may want to get a second opinion. Keep in mind that you cannot have ALL of the above in your tank at once! How many guppies do you have in the tank now? Sam |

Depending on background/gravel many different varieties can be found to satisfy almost any setting and any personal preference. IMO guppies are the universal satisfier. Also cardinal tetras, cory cats, and possibly some unusual platys could be added. |

houston Fish Guru You want what when? Posts: 2623 Kudos: 2462 Votes: 337 Registered: 29-Mar-2003 | First take the measurements of your tank, and let us know what they are L x W x H...or enter it [link=here]http://www.fishprofiles.com/interactive/convert.asp?type=length" style="COLOR: #ccc6cb[/link] then it will tell you the size of tank that you have. I know that I found it nice to have a school of Neon Tetras with your guppies...I always found my neons would force my guppies to school with them, and the guppies would try to mate with the neonsheidi "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom."
