A couple days ago I picked up 3 male Guppies to fill out my 10 gallon.
I've noticed they really don't seem to like the foods I've offered.
I've tried Spirulina flakes, Brine Shrimp flakes, color flakes, tropical flakes, and freeze-dries bloodworms.

I'm hoping they will get use to the foods I have, but if not, is there any food that would be a guaranteed success with the Guppies?

Odd... my guppies eat everything put in the tanks... Perhaps try crushing some flake food or even trying a betta pellet. Or tempt them with some frozen or freeze dried foods?

~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~

Just leave then a day or two without food & be sure that they'll eat the flakes you'll give them.

I think out of all of the fish I have, the guppies are definitely the most voracious eaters of all. (With the severums running a close second...)Even the guppies I have raised on live food will eat anything I drop in there... as they even pick at my hand if I have to move anything around in the tank.... Like was said above... give it a couple of days and they should start eating. If they are stressed they might not have much of an appetite. Sometimes if it's a female and she is really pregnant then she might not eat as much either... Good luck!

The one surviving guppy is now eating anything I put in the tank. I assume it was just getting adjusted to the tank.

Unfortunatly, the other two guppies had the same fate as every other fish that I've bought from this one chain store. Amazingly this store has a 15 day guarentee, so I can either try two more or just get my money back.

If you think that the store isn't very good with fish, just get your money back & try to buy fish from another place.

I would guess the fish were extremely stressed and/or sick which is why they didn't eat and eventually died. Guppies rarely turn down food. A possibility if you are having problems from just one store is that there's a large difference in water parameters. Have you tested the store's water or asked the employees?

No I've never checked the stores water. I guess I should have. After this, I won't be buying from them again, so I won't have to worry about it.

Guppies will pretty much eat all fish food. They should eat tropical fish flakes, bloodworms, or plankton. They will even eat betta pelets.
