First off, welcome to FP With guppies the gravid spot it very obvious, that area of the fish is pretty much see-thru. You'll know when it's approaching drop time when it's belly is very full and square-shaped. It will appear alot more stressed and look for hidey places to hide to drop fry.. With Mollies there is no dark gravid spot, and on a darker fish if it's visible it'd be light in color. You can't see in so go by fullness and shape of the belly and how the fish is acting. They'll drop fry every month so you'll have time to observe and learn. Good Luck ! The Amazon Nut... |
