I've also heard conflicting opinions about whether the males or females are larger. Ack! (EDIT: I'm just realizing now that I should probably have this in Livebearers Lane. Body size, the female will be larger, but you might have younger guppies, so the bodies will be fairly similar. |

Also, some livebearers have black bodies (such as half black guppies) and that cannot be seen. The only true way to tell is by the anal fin: triangular for a female, tubular for a male. |
