My male moly ( about 6 months old)had lost his minds.
He had 2 females that died and after this i moved him to my 62g community/planted tank. He had no female for about a month. Because i'm the tipe of aquarist that stays with his hands in the aquarium all the time the male moly got used with me. At one day he started to nip my hair the other he started to touch my hand with his body and before i knew e raised his gonopodium at my hand.I should attack him in court for harresment.
I thought that he realy needs females so i bought him 2 females but he still atacks my hand with his sword.
What should i do???

And also do baby moly have their tail transparent or yellow cause mine have.

I would see if you can get him to take you out to dinner or a movie, at least...

That is a clear case, either your molly needs glasses or he has a major hand fetish.

Now seriously, the hand nipping is what a lot of fish do, I think they actually believe it is a food source. I would explain the other elements of his behavior with “defending his territory”. That is his space that you are intruding. He could sue you in court for trespassing.

To the transparent tail: if your babies are mollies and they have transparent tails, then you answered your own question.

my male swordtail does a little mating jig for his pineapple female when i let her out of the breeding net.

I can only imagine if i stuck my hand in there if he did it for me.
