Right now they are in a 55 gal tank w/ other swordtails, and I am trying to plan out a new tank. If I can find another male w/ the coloring, I may end up with a total of 2m/4f. So question....what would be the smallest tank I could set up for 3 swordtails? Or 6 swordtails? I would move the fry out of the tank. And I may try to get something bigger than the minimum, but it depends on budget. Christina |

The same would go for three swords in a ten gallon. Errrr, yeah. I forgot that they get so large... ![]() [span class="edited"][Edited by sirbooks 2004-09-10 15:22][/span] |

A 30 would be much smarter. -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |

There may be some kinds that get bigger but if you don't think yours are one of them go for the 20. Worst comes to worst, you get a bigger tank or knock it down to 1 male and 3 females. If your butget allows go for a 29 or 30. Have fun, Mike |
