Hi, I have been having a disagreement with someone over whether or not Mollies are freshwater fish or brackish only.
This person is sure my Mollies are dying because they are kept only in freshwater, and that they will live shortened lives and unhealthy lives in my 75g freshwater tank, despite the fact that my sailfins are going on 4 years and were bred, raised and kept by me only in freshwater.
So what do you think guys?

really depends on how you get them. i have found no probblems keeping them in Fw. and they can also live in Sw, and brackish.

IMO they live happily in both waters.

Yes, they can live with both, although they preferred a little salt to keep away parasites.

I think they can live happily in either, all the way up to full saltwater.

They can live in either happy and healthy...

But, I know or I think I remember Tanker mentioning that his mollies grew larger and produced larger drops in brackish waters than in the freshwater...might want to ask him, I know he has just a few of them
