martinh Fingerling Posts: 39 Kudos: 18 Votes: 3 Registered: 08-Apr-2006 | how long roughly should i keep molly fry in a breeder net.. i put 2 of my 6 week old fry in my other tank with 10neon tetras 3 guppys and 1 molly and 1 was dead the next morning so i put the other 1 back in the netwith the other 10 1 week old fry please help. |

JQW Fish Addict Posts: 869 Kudos: 758 Registered: 09-Apr-2003 | There is a possibility that your baby molly is harrassed to death. If the parameter in the two tanks are significantly different, I'd suggest you acclimitize them in the same way as you would with new fish. Babies are more fragile than adult fish. Neons can get nippy, they won't eat your fry but harrase it enough to kill. Good luck! |
