Molly fry | |
Lawnboy41 Fingerling Posts: 32 Kudos: 29 Votes: 0 Registered: 22-Mar-2005 | One of my mollies had some fry. I have them in a 20 gallon tank that is cycling (with 4 other mollies). I was wondering if I should move them to my other 10 gallon tank. It has 2 guppies, one smaller molly, 2 neon tetras and 2 danios. I have the fry in a breeding net but don't know if its alright to have them in a tank that is cycling. This is my first time dealing with fry. Thanks Jamie |

Also, don't put them in the 10Gal. tank, as they will become snack for the other fish. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.deathbydyeing.org/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

The cycle isn't complete, but I do water changes every day or two and monitor the chem levels in the water. They seem to be doing fine, only lost one and that was the first day... So I wouldn't worry too much about the cycle as long as you are monitoring your levels closely. I wouldn't however put them in with the other fish...they will be goners... |
