My wife just noticed little molly fry running around out tank this morning. We managed to scoop 7 of them out and into a breeding tank. My questions are this:
1.How long are molly preganant?
2.How many fry do they normally have in one spawn?
3What am I gonna do with all of them, I don't have the room?
4. Once she starts having them how long does labor usually last?

I never kept track of how long they are pregnant but a guess would be 6 weeks or so depending on temp.

30-50 fry at a time depending on how big the fish is, how well fed and water quality.

You could get another tank, feed them to your Bettas or let'em be in the tank and take'em to the LFS when the survivors get big enough.

She'll be done an hour after she started unless something causes her to stop. Like trying to catch her or the babies. She might hold the rest until it quiets down.

Congrats, Mike

I've only had guppy fry but from what I've read about them the number of fry with each batch increases. If you plan on keeping them you should get an extra 10g w/ a heater to raise them so they don't get eaten. Most pet sores will give you store credit once their at least an inch.
