	Molly or swordtail
bettachris Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3875 Kudos: 4173 Votes: 452 Registered: 13-Jun-2004	i went to my lfs and in the .99 tank there was a "molly" big female that i got and now was starting to think that she might be a swordtail. how is there a good way to find out.

Yellow or gold mollys have a white underbelly from what I have seen, and I haven't seen them too often. Swordtails tend to be red, yellow, orange, and sometimes also green. bettachris Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3875 Kudos: 4173 Votes: 452 Registered: 13-Jun-2004	no pic but it is a green coloration, see i saw tha green mollies and green swordtails look almost the same, and i really can't tell because in most pics that i have seen for green mollys is that they dont have a gravid spot. on this fish is see a dark gravid spot.
